Spock hand back at ya! Great job; love the groovy music man - your one loyal fan.

WOW Thank you for the mention, I teared up. My modem is slowing, and my connection giving me problems, so I was only able to watch 75% of the clip; great job thus far. As much as I think the New Voyages is neat, I hate to admit I rather enjoyed, and was more impressed with the work on Starship Exeter instead. I believe we are witnessing the growth and better things to come from the Internet. By 2008 HDTV will be mandatory for TV, and Bill Gates has already begun work on convering tech for Net/TV; so the heck with Studio produced shows, whenever Fans - like yourself, and those linked - can produce themselves. Bravo! Great job, and looking forward to more and better things to come.

Thanks for the high praise, old friend. We've seen a lot of water under the bridge, you and I. When I came across some of these fan productions it really took me back to some happy days of our youth. Do you remember all the models and crap hanging from my ceiling? Man, I guess it is pretty sad to have to admit that while you were off playing D&D with Troy, I lost my virginity underneath K-7 and the Enterprise. (With an actual girl, no less...) What gets me though, is your uncanny resemblance to the kid in the scenes from Free Enterprise. How funny is that?

There is a download-able version of the vlog if you click the "Continue Reading" link. Just right click and "Save as," then you can watch it at your convenience.

Next up for me is an attempt to become the first embedded reporter in World of Warcraft. (Or perhaps embedded bard would be a better description.) Then I'll try my hand at crypto-poetry. It ought to be freaky.

I stayed up WAY too late watching "The Tressaurian Intersection" again on the Starship Exeter site, and you know Falconmyst... I think you may be right. The work on Exeter is top-flight in every category. I think they really nailed it with this one. I plan on doing more on the best of the fan films, and you can bet Exeter will be on the top of the list. They didn't get nearly the praise they deserve in my first video.

The first time they caught my eye was in 2004. Here is the link:

That was great, I enjoyed it a lot and appreciated the mention for Intrepid. Brings back fond memories of my own life as a fan. :)

Thanks Nick!

Nick is the screenwriter on Star Trek: Intrepid and plays Commander Hunter on that production, in addition to his many other duties.

If you haven't checked them out already, stop by and have a look.

Thanks for the great documentary. I had all of the same model kits. This brings back some great memories for me.

Thanks,

That picture looks like mine, except I have a beard and different ears. Interesting. Good Documentary. Well done.
